Licking Heights Local Schools is pleased to announce a new partnership with Mount Vernon Nazarene University to make higher education accessible for all current employees and their families.
All Licking Heights employees–including certified, classified and exempt–and their immediate families are eligible for the Business Partner Scholarship to complete an undergraduate or graduate degree of their choice from the fully online School of Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS) at MVNU.
The Business Partner Scholarship provides students with $500 per semester for undergraduate or graduate degrees or a $55 per credit hour discount for students taking courses to meet state licensure eligibility only.
GPS students may earn an associate, bachelors or masters degree from MVNU online. The pathway will allow Heights employees to earn anything from a bachelor’s degree to an Ohio teaching license to a masters in education.
